Soon it’s time for the annual jewellery art sale and exhibition and I am taking part once again. The Finnish Jewellery Art Association organizes the event every March at Kaapelitehdas, Helsinki. This year there are 45 Finnish jewellery artists showing/selling their works.

On display are my most recent bigger scale art jewellery pieces alongside some older small collection silver jewellery.

Soon it’s time for the annual Konstrundan event where professional artists, makers and designers open their studios for the public. During the weekend you’re welcomed to visit my studio in Pasila’s Old Roundhouse and to see what I have been working on lately. On Saturday l will reveal a new small series of unique earrings made of silver and porcelain clay. There are also some old collections on sale during event. You’re warmly welcomed!

Something special is happening in one month! By some wonderful coincidences occuring in the spring I am happy to announce that we are going to Munich in July with our ‘From Sea To Sky’ exhibition with Elli Hukka. This is our first joined exhibition outside Finland.

The exhibition spot is a nice paper studio run by Vier Werkstätten’s lovely Karin in Maxvorstadt. The exhibition is taking place from 6th to 10th of July during Schmuck and Munich Jewellery Week.

I am participating in an online exhibition “Oozing Natural Skill – Contemporary jewelry and craft culture from Finland” organized by Powerlong Art Center in China together with Gallery GAo ShAn in Helsinki. The online exhibition is launched on May 1 on Powerlong Art Center’s Wechat platform. More information from Gallery GAo ShAn’s webpage.

The Finnish State Art Commission has purchased one of my wearable wall pieces – a piece called Isadrophea from the series Artefacts of a Certain Age – among seven other works of Finnish jewellery artists. This is my first work in a state art collections and I feel very flattered about it!

Several pieces of my new art jewellery are part of annual Art and Design Sales exhibitions in March 2022. The events organized by Ornamo and the Finnish Jewellery Art Association are held in Kaapelitehdas, Helsinki. The public is welcomed to visit the events from the 12th to the 20th of March.
